Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Consultant – Microsoft 365 Migration Support to provide post-migration validation and client-side troubleshooting support. The ideal candidate will have intermediate expertise in Microsoft 365 workloads and strong hands-on experience in resolving complex client-side and authentication-related issues. This role requires working in NORAM shift and supporting enterprise-level migration engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Post-Migration Validation
- Perform post-migration checks for Exchange Online
- Validate mail flow, calendar functionality, mailbox permissions, and mailbox access
- Validate Microsoft 365 Apps reset using Desktop Update Agent
- Ensure Outlook profiles, Teams, OneDrive sync, and Office activation are functioning properly
SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams Validation
- Verify SharePoint site integrity, metadata, permissions, and sharing configurations
- Validate OneDrive configuration, folder redirection, sync health, and user access
- Validate Microsoft Teams setup including Teams, Channels, group memberships, and chat functionality
Active Directory & Entra ID Support
- Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), SID, NTFS Permissions, and Entra ID
- Troubleshoot user profile, login, and access-related issues
- Validate Entra ID user objects, group memberships, and role assignments
- Analyze Event Viewer logs, application logs, and migration logs
- Troubleshoot authentication issues including SSO, MFA, and Conditional Access
Quest On Demand Migration Support
- Working knowledge of Quest On Demand Machine Cutover
- Troubleshoot pre- and post-cutover client-side issues using Quest On Demand
Power Platform Post-Migration Support
- Verify Power Apps functionality, connectors, and permissions
- Test Power Automate flows and resolve broken connections post-migration
Required Skills & Competencies
- Intermediate expertise in Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams)
- Expert-level client-side troubleshooting skills
- Strong understanding of authentication and identity management
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex migration-related issues
- Experience in enterprise migration environments
- Strong analytical and log analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with global stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft 365 / Entra ID certifications (preferred)
- Experience supporting large-scale tenant-to-tenant or hybrid migrations
- Exposure to migration tools such as Quest On Demand
